http://www.visitchurches.org.uk/Ourchurches/Completelistofchurches/Church-of-St-John-the-Baptist-Inglesham-Wiltshire/

Between Swindon and Lechlade this Gem can be found,i would urge anyone who likes history or churches or indeed peace and tranquility to pop in for a look around.
The old paintings on the walls are stunning and the little church just oozes centuries of history.

And guess what....it wont cost you a penny unless you decided to pop a few bob in the collection box.

I'm afraid I would spontaneously combust if I crossed the threshold of a church.

There is - or at least used to be - a very nice restaurant in Inglesham (The Forge)

Haven't been there for years - difficult as I moved to Ireland 12 years ago - but I always loved a walk down by the river with the dogs, returning to sit outside the Plough and sink a couple of pints and a bit of lunch,

Nothing remotely like that over here unfortunately
