Well, this run of tough fixtures seems to be going well.

3 points off Chesterfield (A), Preston and City are probably more than what most people were expecting.

And up to 2nd in the league to boot.

Posh don't seem in the best of form at the moment (Walsall should have won easily yesterday), so we could get something there.

It's all going worryingly well

I was going to say this. I thought we'd do well just to keep in touch with the play-off spots yet we find ourselves sitting in 2nd. Also, Posh are not doing well at the moment. I reckon we could come away with at least a point next week.

I still don't think even those of us who are regular attendees are 100% convinced that we are actually 2nd - let alone believe we can stay there.

And this when we have seen with our own eyes how good a team we are.

Maybe this explains the stayaways, too.

January transfer time is going to be a major worry

We did this last season, we had a really tough run of games at the end of the season where most of us were a bit apprehensive about the results, but did very well from them

I don't want Town to be in that horrible pack of teams where it could go either way and beating Peterborough would be a mighty fine way to contribute to that task but since when has it been that easy?

I think we just need to enjoy, what is happening atm, without building up expectations on our young squad.

Usual cliches apply; take each game as it comes, get to 52 points asap and you're only as good as your last game.  Last week we were dogshite, this week very good....which is kind of what happens with a young squad.

So do we or do we not want Darren Ward in the centre of our defence?

January will have a massive baring over what happens. Smith is scoring goals, Wes is a great keeper*, Mas and Kas are excellent in midfield and ambitious. Byrne has been excellent...

Surely a couple of bids and possible financial pressure could be decisive.

Buuuuuuuut, its going the opposite to how I imagined, not just this month, but this season as a whole.  Long may it do so Smiley

Are you going to explain the asterisk or was that just a typo?

And will probably at the Asian Cup most of the month...

Oh yeah, forgot

He is a good keeper, but I can't believe he/teams won't wait until the summer to sign him for free (and he'll get a signing on wedge).

Asterisk is a good keeper but I suspect he's on drugs and will be banned from the game.  Along with his lardarse central defender Obelisk and the dubious manager Getafix.
