Good luck. I made it a life aim at the time of our last move (in 2006) to minimise the number of house moves during the rest of my life. Horrible process. Buy a house and then stay there. That would be my advice (which you didn't ask for, I know...but I offer it for free.) And pls don't get me started on stamp duty.
