Ok, as some of you are aware, I get married in April.
We don't go on our actual honeymoon until September, but I'm thinking of taking the Mrs away for a couple of nights straight after the wedding...
Anyone got any ideas? Budget isn't huge, I'm looking for something just as a getaway. I could be a City Break or Countryside retreat - anyone have any ideas?

If it's before the 9th April I hear that Bradford is very nice that time of the year

Do you need some advice for the wedding night too?

Maybe a peak District break, where you could do a shopping / footy visit on the Saturday.

Do you need some advice for the wedding night too? Yeah, just how exactly will I get away with watching Match Of The Day?

Glossop to Rochdale is only 22 miles, I am sure it's only a slight detour to the arndale centre en route.
