I just checked and I see our home record is W10 D2 L1...I would say this side is good enough to go through the rest of the season without any more home defeats.
Agree with that, win or at least not lose at home. Think that along with a few points away would be enough.

Didn't go to the game as planned but sounds like we ground it out and it wasn't pretty. You have plenty of games like that, and when you have 3 points in the bag who gives a shit.

What's the club record for league wins in a row? 7 in a row with 3 home games to come. Be dissapointed if it's not 10 the way our form is right now, especially at home.

Jeff Stelling said it was our best run since 1987.

How many 'big' games do we have to win before people will get some confidence that we are going to win the next one? After Southend, Crawley and the JPT Semi-finals, I have confidence that we will beat Shrewsbury. This is at home for goodness sake and their form is nothing like ours!!! Okay the run will end eventually but hopefully not this season ;-)
I think it's a combination of superstition (i.e. people don't want to jinx things) and the fact that Swindon have had a tendency to 'bottle it' in the past in certain situations.

As far as I'm concerned, I've been convinced since about October that we're going up. Since the turn of the year I've thought we would win the league and since the Crawley game I think we'll win it by 10 points at least. Today has done nothing whatsoever to change that view.

Saying that has not 'jinxed' us, nor is it arrogant or complacent. I'm merely judging on what I've seen and comparing it to 35+ years of watching football in general and STFC in particular.

We're a very, very good team at this level. Simple as that.

No, they asked for money. I'm Swindon nor Crawley.

Just read back through the thread and seems it was nervy listening.  I caught around 10 mins in the car while out and about and we were a bit under pressure.  Absolutely delighted to get back to the car and find we'd won.

Hard fought away wins shows the team spirit and resilience we have.  It's totally in our hands now and I'm with OST.  Unless something truly awful happens, I can't see us not going up automatically.

Still won't stop me feeling nervous and negative before a game though  Cheesy Cheesy

I fully aim to have that changed by the end of the season..

I might actually add up my record now, I'm thinking about putting it onto my CV.
