What's the point of such a short broadcast? Pathetic.
From what was said it hardly inspires does it? Guess i'm firmly in the moaning, miserable negative camp.
The being in no rush to get a manager in and not even making enquiries is worrying.

Chief executive Nick Watkins' future remains unclear but the new owners will speak to him in time. McCrory says he wants to be "respectful" in his treatment of Watkins.

I feel like you... It does feel like everything I want to say is negative and miserable (so i'll probably just keep my trap shut!)

Not even thinking about ground redevelopment either. Jed isn't inspiring confidence.

The slow, respectful, considered approach to a takeover, which they appear to be taking, would be absolutely the right approach to take if this was going on between seasons. Quick decisions are less likely to be in the longer term interests of the club and god knows who would end up managing us if they had to get someone in very quickly.

However, in our current situation there's a very fine balance between making the right decisions and making them quickly enough to not disrupt the remainder of a very promising season.

I hope they can find that balance, but the "only been in the job 2 days" answer, when they've had a lot longer than that to prepare for the job, doesn't fill me with confidence.

The impression I'm getting is of 4 blokes who have landed a club that they didn't think they were going to get.  And now that they have, they're thinking 'Shit, what happens next?'

  • No approaches to potential managers.  PDC exit has, apparently, taken them by surprise and, as yet, do not even have a short list drawn up for a replacement.
  • No plans for the ground.
  • Ambiguous about Nick Watkins' future.

Sorry to be so down on this again.  Appreciate I'm sounding like a broken record, but this does not inspire confidence.
