Yeah it's a book about an alternative world, like a modern day rival to Terry Prachett thingyworld.  I tried reading"The Eyre Affair" by J Fforde but couldn't really get into it.

I always imagined going to a football match between Ipswich Wanderers and Norwich United, or Cambridge City and Lincoln United would be a bit wierd.  And possibly a bit scary.

Swindon's always been in Wessex. Wiltshire was the heart of wessex, I don't think Jasper is too bothered about actual facts though.
