Is it all ticket? You'd imagine there might be a couple hundred who would pay on the day.

Yep, all ticket.

My Coventry supporting friend says they always sell tickets this way then declare you can buy tickets on match day.

Yeah I have heard this too from a Coventry fan, I think we could have a couple of hundred walk ups on the day.

Still think about 2,200 will be a good turn out.

It happened a couple of years ago. The official figure was 3,000 but there was at least 4/500 more than that, they just didn't count them when they came through the gate.

2048 sold, brilliant effort considering we're 14th in the league. Hopefully push to 2500 would be a good turnout.

3 of us planning on coming from Lincoln area, haven't got tickets though, banking on pay on the day, as we have done before

It's all-ticket for Town fans so you'd be in the home end.

Sleaford Robin...got our tickets today, travelling from Heckington. I would ring the club up and either get them to send them or they will bring your tickets up on the supporters coaches.   Smiley

So this Coventry Arena station that was finished in January 2016, does it allow fans to go there on match days or not? You can buy tickets for a train that arrives there at 1.49 on National Rail

Apparently no trains for an hour either side of KO/final whistle as its a single unit powered coach so can't cope with the numbers expected.
Or that's what I seem to recall reading when it opened.

1.49 should be OK then

Getting there is OK.  Getting away again is a pain in the arse.  First train out of Coventry Arena station after the game leaves 1828.

2,165 sold at 4pm today. If we make a final push to 2,500 that would be quite an achievement.
