You chose a bad game to get started on  :(

Start watching the Twenty20 stuff. You should love it. Games start at 5.30 and I presume a game will be on Sky almost every day their isn't an England/Australia/Bangladesh game on

All I can say is that cricket is for the purist fans of sport. As a result you get the widest possible range of financial incomes. Especially in London. United only by their love of the game. You get the millionaires who have been driven to the ground in company cars from their office and you get 45 year old men from Dartford who work in a bookies three days a week and still live with their mums. Has to be said it is a sport watched 80% by men. And you do get a lot of oddballs.

Its not for people interested in the celebrity or scandal or violence or money side of sport. Proper hardcore sports fanatics.

Cricket completely crosses the divides of race, socio-economic status, the lot.

In the 1sts this year we've got a 45 year old who lives in a nigh on mansion and a lad who dig holes for a living. But everyone gets only brilliantly.

What about Shane Warne? He spends a lot of time harrassing nurses and lap dancers with his mobile phone.  :soapy tit wank: That counts as scandalous behaviour in my book.

Also took drugs.....or steriods or something....

Maybe Warne feels that he has to undertake every scandal in the book to make up for the lack of other cricketers not being scandalous...
