Title: Season tickets
Post by: Bogus Dave on Monday, February 26, 2007, 21:17:17
Does anyone know when the details for next seasons tickets are released, and What are your thoughts on next seasons ticket prices.

Also, if the current board stay in charge, will people not buy a season ticket for this reason alone?

I'll buy a season ticket as it saves the hassle of having to save money for the home game. I'd imagine the prices wont change too much. Ticket prices came out mid april before didnt they?

with the crowds we are getting it would be silly to put them up. we should try and keep the current fanbase.

in theory but given the miracle last season if we stayed up they said the ticket prices were the same if we were up or down, surly that theory should stick?

they should.....but they will want more money and the higher level of football is the perfect excuse to raise the prices back to what they were last season.

In theory we shouldnt even be paying close to £350 to start with. Its division 4 for fuck sake. We charge similiar prices for season tickets to Everton

I reckon they'll announce they stay the same price and trumpet it before promotion - saying how it will be the same regardless of whether we go up, so if we do go up it will cause a boost to sales.

It would be the clever thing to do.

I will not be buying a season ticket until the board leave the club. I do not trust them with the money full stop.
What, is to stop it going into the same black hole as the near on 2 million that disapeared last summer.
The way things are the club could well go into liquidation this time. Particularly as there is no Bill P 1.2 million, No Fallon transfer fee, no Bryan Adams concert & a 900k CVA

Good call Phil.

I was thinking about it earlier this season, but no way now.

They're usually announced just before the last home game iirc. So should have a centre page spread in the programme for the Walsall game.

VD is spot on....of course they will go up.

Wasn't a match day ticket £23 on the day for the two main stands last season?

Why wouldn't this current board put them back up to that amount?
