Not something that would warrant a press conference, I think. More a press release for that.

Maybe he's press-ganged some unsuspecting billionaire to bankroll us or redevelopment of the TE

A player was scheduled to do the press conf tomorrow until suddenly changed at 5pm today

We can only hope. We're worryingly short of things to moan about and it's been a while since we had genuine cause to be concerned over the future of the club.

Of course time is relative, but back in the summer there was plenty to worry about with the Court Case, now that doesn't seem like such a long time ago to me.

I'm encouraged though by the fact that the Trust now has a 1000 members, so if the shit is about to hit the fan again, someone will be around to pick up the pieces.

I'm guessing it's something to do with Jed. During the court case Power stated that McCrory had been found out stealing money from the club.....and afterwards he mentioned that there was an ongoing claim against McCrory and Murrell. Could be a follow up on that or just an announcement that the saga is finally over.

This is the important bit for me. For once a young footballer recognising that he might develop a better career at the heart of a smaller team for a fraction of his maximum potential short-term earnings, rather than rotting in the reserves of a bigger club, raking in the cash until he's kicked out to try and rebuild a career somewhere else.

He seems to have an eye for a bargain too on the pitch.
