Some of their fans seem to genuinely like it. "Well having heard a few real dogs of football related "pop songs" over the years, I have to say that's not too shabby, not too shabby at all!"
"The rap is godawful. But I like the chorus, 'Can you hear, when we shoooout Come On! Like the Kings of our land, they call us the Royals. Let us sing, every man, we stand by the Royaaals.' That is class."
"Sorry I actually like it and while there is a certain amount of cringeness brought on by the fact it's the corporate arm of the club doing it, at least it shows they care enough to do something that will increase the GLOBAL brand"

Oh. My. Fucking. Cunty. God.
Just sat through that (thanks Tans...) and very nearly threw up my dinner, lunch and breakfast.
If Reading have a global brand, they must have Diamandis heading up their marketing department and he's managed to persuade their far eastern owners that having an ace, corporate video like that will mean a huge increase in sales of replica shirts.
Anyone know if Dunwoody Goal International supply the plastics with kits?

That has to be the campest rap ever recorded. Can they get the cast from Glee to record a cover please?

Yes but some of their fans also seem to genuinely like Reading. So they're just wrong.

Should have been sung by Yazz and the plastic population (of the Madejski Stadium).

These type of songs are always 'we're great and we're gonna win everything' type stuff. You never hear a more measured 'we could give it a good crack in the Championship, but the Premier League is unrealistic' variety.
It's all about maximum cheese.
