With Sunderland being my second team (due to family) I have already warned them about Di Canio, but I do feel he would do well up there as their owner literally hands manager's an open and blank cheque book...apparently a deal has already been done with someone and I wouldn't be surprised if it's him...rumour mill indicates PdC, Di Matteo and Steve McClaren as the 3 favourites!
Well if PDC gets it the Geordies will be rubbing their Hads in glee.

Apparently he's at Sunderland now in talks. Assume if he gets the job it might put an end to him suing us?

It will either be a master-stroke or a disaster. Ambivalent about which I'd prefer but at least it will keep what is an otherwise deathly dull Prem somewhat more entertaining to the end of the season.
Will also be interesting to see how his man management methods translate to a higher level as much debated on here.
We should start a sweepstake on which overpaid primadonna he falls out with first.

Sessegnon, a luxury player if you have ever seen one. Things he is the dog's dangly-bits, scores the odd super goal but is missing for most of their games.

The Sunderland forums are going in to meltdown. Going to be interesting watching this.
Guess it will mean the end to any legal action from PDC or his team. Don't see how they could start a new job if they were still in dispute with us. Personally I hope we can find a way to sue PDC and his team for breach of contract, just for a laugh.

Adds a bit of spice to the only interesting aspect of that league, the relegation battle as per most seasons

Paolo has never threatened us...or stated he intended to sue us....others have done that for him.

Have we ever accepted his resignation?? If not perhaps we are due some cash from them, 18 months at £650,000 per year is a tidy sum!!

Could offset it against his (possible) legal action
