Leaving around 9 from Reading Station. Gonna grab some grub in Birmingham then get the train to Bescot. I have a feeling it may be good to get to the ground early to get a decent spot!

I find it very hard to believe that a team wouldn't allow other fans to buy empty seats to make money... it is very different there. here in America, you buy whatever seat you can. In college football, people selling their season seats for one big game can pay for the entire season for them or can pay for a lot of bills for the school. crazy not to make more money.

there is strict segregation here in football. Home fans and away fans can't sit together.
A hangover from the 80s when soccer hooliganism was at its peak. in fact it would probably 'kick off' now.
it seems like a backward step, but there's nothing like being amongst your own.
Rugby have no such rules. And they're why it's a silly game.

Problem is I bought two tickets at the same time, and they are in different rows and 20+ seats apart. If they’ve done the same for families then I can’t imagine anyone being happy to leave their kids sat on their own

Just seen this posted on STFC supporters Facebook page.
Quick note so plan ahead, anyone travelling by road, M6 jct 10 closes on Friday and does not open till Monday, Traffic being brought off up and over to rejoin, this is VERY likely to have a major knock on effect and traffic from Jct 9, Bescot exit, and beyond. Would not want anyone to miss the start of the game due to traffic
