My Aunt Leslie.

Cancer is a bitch.
Shit sorry to hear that mate, and yes it is, although no words will ever make up for any loss.

Michael Angelis (Thomas the Tank Engine narrator)
Shot his geese and chickens in Boys From The Black Stuff too. Left the rabbit though, as he was all about rabbits in The Liver Birds.

Cancer is a bitch.
Indeed it is - We lost a family friend last week too and have another who looks well, but prognosis is not good.

Sorry for your loss - I feel your pain.

Ringo did it originally, Michael Angelis took over from him. He was superb in Boys from the Blackstuff btw

He lived in Bedford for a while, my Mum used to see him at the surgery she was practise manager at.

RIP Ricky, although I must confess I always preferred Billy Connolly's version.

Yep it has indeed been confirmed now.

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/other-sports/snooker/willie-thorne-dead-snooker-legend-22201772

I played against Willie at the Green Baize club at the height of his career in 1987 in one of his many exhibition matches, he gave me a 50 point head start and still whipped my arse soundly.

He was a lovely bloke who liked a few drinks and cigars, he arrived in a Bentley with the number plate "A 147 PRO" which impressed us all back then before personalized number plates became crass.

RIP Willie.
