Does anybody know why I might not be able to access gmail on my iPhone? Doing my head in. Haven't changed password but says password is wrong on my imap settings. Sure it's something easy... Have checked my settings and imap settings seem ok. Any help/abuse gratefully received!

Sounds stupid but have you tried removing your account and re-adding it? Did the trick when I couldn't access my work mails.

I've had problems before with imap passwords being lost, seems to happen after it fails to connect to the server for a while. Entering the password again or removing and adding the account fixes it.
Though I think I had the same problem when I switched to a gmail.com address as well, had to change the account settings to match as the old (googlemail.com) address wouldn't authenticate any more.

Yeah I've removed it and nothing happened. It's weird, it just stopped one weekend.

Delete the account and readd it as Microsoft Exchange Leave the domain blank and use:
m.google.com
as the server

This. Works better this way as well.

Sound stupid but have you turned the phone off and on again? Had a couple of iPhones at work that the email stopped working and this fixed both.

Have turned in and off, first thing I tried! It does accept my account details when trying to load in exchange, but then repeatedly asks for password over and over? This happened to anyone else?

Have you changed ANYTHING to do with Google, Google Apps or anything related on your iPhone or the web?
