This season's got me thinking about why some people stop going to the football. I was sat next to some young(ish) woman all last season. She seemed genuinely interested in the club and even got a season ticket. I chatted to her a few times and even saw her in the Merlin before a lot of games. I think her name was Lucy.

This season her seat's been taken by a variety of different people and she's not been seen either in the ground, or the Merlin before games. Maybe she just lost interest, maybe she couldn't stand to sit next to the bloke on the other side of her (A foul-mouthed old guy) anymore, maybe she's in hospital recovering from an operation, I don't know.

I doubt if she comes on here, but if anyone knows a blonde haired twentysomething woman, who used to like football, but doesn't go anymore, let me know.

Just to put my mind at rest.

Watch out Lucy, you're being stalked and from your hospitable bed.  For shame. Wink

While we are at it. There was  an old guy DR T112 Were has he gone?  We are very worried about him.

Does Sade still go?

My old man stopped going around 1999. He'll never go back.

Maybe she's given up on football... or more likely had her head turned by premiership football and the corporate side of the game? Never trust a woman who likes football - no loyalty or commitment...

You may well be right. Although as you've never been correct in anything else you've posted, I think it unlikely.

I wish the people around me would fuck off, because at times it makes me want to stop going.

I lost three mates a few years ago to the premiershit, They seem happy to watch 3 to 4 games a season at anfield rather than watch us every two weeks etc. I fear i may have to give up soon tho because i need a seat with leg room because i can't bend my knee back very far and find it painful to sit cramped up.

10,000 and 8000 in the first two matches is very promising.....i actually saw the old guy in the townend yesterday who in the standing days would bait and swear at
the away keeper.
Always wears a mac and now has a walking stick.

Sit on the end of a quiet row somewhere Rustle, stick your leg out into the aisle.

Im going to see the ticket office bloke tomorrow about doing that but aisle seats are popular im told, I dont really want to go in the townend because sitting at the front the view is not that good. I expect i may get an aisle seat in the arkells tho. I guess i cant be fussy tho.

You might have to sacrifice a decent view but there is always loads of seats in the Arkells near the Town End... I should think the club would be quite accomodating to your needs
