He won the Player of the Year Award in his one season (although Easton got my vote).

Ian Woan was by far one of the most talented footballers I've seen in a town shirt, despite his age.

I swear I saw Paul McAreavey come of the bench and put in an insane half an hour in the 99/00 relegation season under Quinn. Just can't remember who we were playing or what really happened. And to be fair, apart from that possibly imagined 30mins, he was shit.

Nicky Hammond.  Suffers from comparison with Fraser, and everyone seems to remember his horror shows as well, even after all these years.  But on his day, he was a very accomplished goalkeeper.  I'm fairly sure that he did keep Fraser out of the side for significant periods.
His display at Upton Park v WHU when we stole a 1-0 win was incredible and betters any Digby display I recall so he did keep out Digby for a few games sometimes but never for long as the howlers were not exactly few and far between.  Done ok down the M4 for himself since

I remember Fraser having a dodgy patch in early 1992/3 season and was replaced by Hammond for quite a while. Looking on swindon-town-fc it looks like he kept Fraser out from late September to early January that season.

And Nicky Hammond at home to Barnsley in 1992...pure fucking magic.

First time poster so please be gentle. I always thought Jonathan Smith didn't get the credit he deserved last season, can't ever remember him letting us down.
Agree, solid midfielder.
