No clubs from London in the division.

Definitely true for 77/78, whilst there were London clubs the season before and after.

Is it something like every team in the league is from a different county?

Bury and Preston are both from Lancashire so clearly not!

I too have been looking at the table for ages and can't see anything!

Is it anything to do with the number of different endings - United, City, Town, Rovers, Wednesday, North End & Argyle all in the same division ?

Or maybe the fact that there are 7 Uniteds in the same division ? Not sure how unique this is, really cant be arsed to check, but it seems a lot to me
