This was posted by a Coventry City fan on the socceram forum.
Wish him all the best, was fantastic for us and will I am sure do very well for Swindon Town. Would be a nice touch if he takes some of our younger players and helps them develop with first team football at a club like Swindon. Never-the-less I wish him all the best in his new job and hope he has every success.

I think it's wrong to appoint Wise, I really do. He has no knowledge of the lower leagues, he decks players for fun (that's hardly good for morale) and his abrasive style may be disliked by many players.
Plus Iffy has been treated fucking badly by the board.

To be fair Iffy does know the lowest league as he played for King at Mansfield when they got to the PO's, also he was with Udders when they came up via the PO's a couple of years ago.

fair point. i was thinking about the management side of things though. Think if you've played at that level, then you've a fair idea of the requirements, if you become a manager...obviously its not an exact match, but Iffy was definitely looking to build a big side for next season. Which is generally the first requirement of success in L2.

Lou Macari was interviewed on radio Swindon this morning saying how difficult Wise might find playing at this level rather than managing. Lou said that when he joined he was used to playing with a better quality of player and the move to playing with shite shocked him a bit. He said it will be best if Wise concentrates on the managerial side of things.
Personally I can't wait to see Wise with a town shirt on kicking the oppostision players in the middle of the park.
