Really interesting insight as to how John Trollope's unforgiving attitude worked in challenging a relatively pampered Nicky to develop the necessary toughness for the pro game. And some good stories about fellow pros at STFC. When he was talking about his crossing gift (discovered by Hoddle), the older amongst us will recall having seen this very same quality in his Dad, Mike. In my case on tv for Man City and also subsequently glimpsing it again on 6 days to Saturday. http://www.bbc.co.uk/wiltshire/content/articles/2008/05/12/six_days_to_saturday_stfc_film_1963_feature.shtml Brilliant interview, Costanza. You needn't have been nervous ;) Title: Re: 265. Nicky Summerbee Post by: JBZ on Saturday, March 27, 2021, 14:15:38 Always enjoy hearing from former players.

I used to see him out on the Town in the early 90's with Adi Whitbread and he certainly liked a drink Title: Re: 265.
