I sit next to the directors box and i never saw Trundle there at all.

Let's be honest he wouldn't be hard to miss considering everyone keeps going on about how he put on 2 stone over the summer break.

What I don't like about Trundle is his age... that's if we're paying a fee anyway.

Bristol City paid £1,000,000 only 2 years ago. I'd be interested to find out what sort of fee are they demanding because we shouldn't be paying silly money for a soon-to-be 33 year old.

Signing Lee Trundle is like buying a house...

Or making love to a beautiful woman...

You decide...

The one thing we did at MK was play through Amankwaah & Macklin down the right and they were both awesome as was the team performance and result, yet yesterday we abandon all that and hit the long ball, its never worked for us and never will

Fans who witnessed the 84 to 89 period would disagree, long ball football at it's most effective.  Problem is, we then had 4 years of stupendous football using the grass on the pitch, it spoilt fans into believing tis was how it would always be.

If the money was right, Trundle would be a good signing for our club currently.

The longer term issue is what matters. Say we spend £200k on Trundle or similar and get promoted, would he cut it in the Championship and would this be dead money.

I'd much sooner have a young player who we could keep for 2 or 3 seasons.

Saying that Cox banged the goals in and we almost went down so maybe it doesn't matter.

Which is why if any money is spent it has to be on progressive players.

Catch 22 though mate. Historically young players who make the jump from league1 to championship don't usually cut it even older players Trundle being the example.

Maybe it was Schrödinger's Trundle and he wasn't there or not until somebody looked in a box. We could do with some quantum players.

According to thisis, they think we should go for Izale Mcleod.

Yeah ok, a 4th choice striker in a team in the same division...
