I feel a bit silly asking this,as the majority of this forum are men but has anybody seen it? I love that film!I can't wait to go and watch it!the umpa lumpa looks a bit scary though.Bit tight,some people on the radio were comparing johny depp to Micheal jackson.sure he likes that! :)

I saw it on Friday, i thought it was good. Its a very dark version of Willy Wonka as Tim Burton(Director) makes alot of 'Goth' type films.

nope! dont think i will go to see it either.

yes johny depp does actually look a bit gothic actually and some parts of the film look a bit scary :)

Its got some weird and funny parts in the film. I went to the advance showing on Friday and as it was before 5pm it only cost £4.60. :wink:

bargain!:D my nearest cinema's in bristol,so I expect I'll be going there.

I'm going to see it tomorrow, it looks fucking ace. I loved the original and Tim Burton/Johnny Depp films never disappoint. Depp will be superb as Willy Wonka, I know that without seeing it.

yea saw it yesterday, thousands and thousands of little screaming children, i wanted to throw them off the lil balcony bit over the entrance to the cinema screen  :evil:

i saw it too: better than the gene wilder version, but not as good as the futurama version (where fry wins tickets to the slurms factory)...

i think it's amazing.

altho wormulon does look good aswell. as does the partucket patriot's brewery in family guy

Thats where me and the mrs were sat, plenty of Leg room. :D  i also had some little kid ruffling their fucking sweet bag behind me, i was quite tempted to turn round and shout "ARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!" at the little brat.

You should have turned round and angrily yelled "SHHHHHHH" like the woman on the advert for that piles cream!

Will probably see it at some point.

was gonna go and see it yesterday but we went to laserquest instead which was fucking ace. it's geekozoid central in there though

i went to a go-kart tournament and everyone there had their own suit, boots, gloves, etc. whilst i was the only one in one of the free rental gear   :oops:

Saw the film today. Great film and Depp was great at the weirdo-Wonka character.

A great film, but Johno found a few of the jokes a bit too funny!

It'll be like an Eddie Murphy film where Mickey will play about 10 of the parts, which in some scenes will involve him shagging himself, whilst directing the scene and doing the narration.  Talented fella that Mickey.

Me too. But I have to say I was impressed with the re-make.

Johnny Depp is probably a better Willy Wonka then Gene Wilder, but I prefer the overall feeling of the original and the songs were better.

I just got back from the cinema!the film was great.I did'nt find the umpa lumpas scary either infact I found them hilarious!they...or should I say that man was a great mover :D and johny depp was class and that boat looked well fun!

the best thing of that film has to be the old women who says the random comments...comedy genuis she is. she was in vicar of dibley, great actor!

Charlie and the Chocolate factory is great.  The song "Chewing,Chewing,Chewing Gum" had me on the verge of tears of laughter. \o/
