Rushall are a lower league team from Walsall as are Chasetown(Walsall/Litchfield border), I wonder what the odds are of 3 teams from Walsall being in the first round of the cup  :shock:

Why Oxford away?

I'd much rather have them come visit the County Ground, I honestly think we'd put 6 or 7 past them the way things are going.

Trouble is, it's a cup final for them playing a big team like Swindon, and our players will probably get complacent so it could be a recipe for disaster... Wouldn't mind one of the Wiltshire teams, would be nice to have a proper county derby in a game that actually means something!

I still can't escape the nagging feeling that since I've been going, we've lost to a non league club in each decade....60's Kettering,  70's Tooting,  80's Dagenham, 90's Stevenage.......

   So far in the 00's we haven't,  we've got 3 seasons left....any league club will do for me.

I remember Tooting, Daggers and Stevenage well but I also remember the converse of Kettering away 7-0, Bromley home 7-0 in the same period not to mention a few 4 and 5-0 wins as well.

And yes Hertha Exeter or Yeovil would be really good but as you say I would love the Pox.

    I recall Keith East putting 4 past them in a 5-1 win in 65....the following week he put 5 past Mansfield.   Only time I've seen 5 from one player in a game, but I have seen a few 4's, would be nice to see Paynter or Cox do something similar.

Otherwise the Pox at home as I'm probably one of only a few on here who have not experienced the delight.

  Speak for yourself mate.....I've never had the pox.  Unless you can catch it off toilet seats, there's more than a few on here who've yet to get the opportunity of a chance  to experience its delights.
