I think the only film I've seen from this year is clerks II. I'd like to see the new bond film, but all in all it's been pretty uninspiring.

Anyone seen Pans Labyrinth yet? Its made by Guillermo Del Toro (Hellboy) and has received some pretty rave reviews (check IMDB). Only problem is that it is in Spanish and therefore subtitled.
That and Children of Men are on the must-see list right now.

pan's labyrinth is on my to watch list. didn't realise it was subtitled and spanish. Supposed to pretty ace though.
Subtitles don't tend to phase me if I'm sober. Watched most of Hayao Miyazaki's film's subtitled and then download the dubbed versions to watch whilst I'm pissed.
And on that note, I'm off to watch some southpark or rocky or star wars or something else on my conputer upstairs. 'night my sexy forum friends.

Strangely it was released in the UK a month before the USA - not many movies manage that! Its been out here for two weeks and I can't find a cinema within 100 miles of Dayton that is showing it (that radius includes cities such as Cincinnati, Columbus and Indianapolis :shock: )

Pan's Labyrinth is out on DVD shortly, it's been recommended to me a couple of times so I'm looking forward to getting it.
Children of Men isn't worth bothering with. Visually it's very good, but the story has no real idea of where it is going and the holes in it are so big I fell in one and haven't got out yet.
