So that must mean you want LJF playing instead of Sheehan?

No, that's just you. The only one. In the world. Ever.

I'd imagine LJF agrees with me which makes two.

That's completely different Sheehan is a loan player Paynter isn't, He had plenty of time to sign the contract but failed to do so, That to me seems like he doesn't want to stay here! McGovern, Morrison etc have shown their committment and intentions of wanting to stay, Paynter hasn't!

I'm undecided, not sold on Sheehan yet.

I agree with you at the moment J72. Sheehan may have come back too early.

Nope. Even he thinks Sheehan should start.

That's it, make me a liar Smiley

Who can blame a player in his prime not to sign until he knows what division and what offers might be around come the end of the season. In football terms he only has another 7 or 8 years to make his money.

You could say the same for McGovern he's older yet committed himself regardless of what division we are going to be in.

the comment could also be aimed at Cox or Parkin!

they never signed a contract either but both gave 100% every week. As is paynter.

No it isn't. A permanent move was agreed with Leeds and Sheehan turned it down and took the loan deal instead. One would presume this is for exactly the same reasons as Paynter turning down the contract. So its the same.

i couldnt care if he signed or not we have enough time to replace him and with our form so far this season we could attract a better player.

Not in his prime then.
To be truthful I didn't rate either of them last season.

Except McGovern isn't one of the league's top goalscorers, which automatically puts you in line for consideration by teams in the league above. Also, you and I have no idea what terms Paynter was offered or why nothing has been agreed.
