Should be an all ticket match with all seats a tenner. This should include season ticket holders. Why should they get it free whilst others have to fork out again ?

In my case that's absolutely true.

Do the maths. Power says he needs to charge full price to cover the policing costs, yet the policing costs are £14,000. You only need 560 non season ticket holders paying full price to cover that cost, or 3,000 paying a fiver would have more than covered it. Do I really need to call in Carol Vorderman to prove that it doesn't add up?

Yeah, we only need police there to get the game on.

Forget the match day staff, catering, consumables, groundstaff, utilities...

Haven't read back so apologies if covered already.

Back in December 1996 we played Grimsby at home and the match got abandoned after half an hour due to a frozen pitch (we were 1-0 up at the time).
Anyone remember what happened ticketwise in the rearranged game?

Well you can forget the catering....unless  Hmmm   surely Jed didn't pay someone to run it as well as take the profits?

Obviously I feel for some having to pay full price but I've gotta be honest as a season ticket holder I'm struggling not to take some perverse satisfaction from the whole situation. All summer there's been a number of our 'fans' (primarily on that Facebook group) calling anyone who bought a season ticket a mug and deluded.  This combined with their constant negativity and general 24/7 moaning about everything means I'm struggling to really care.

I'll attend the rearranged fixture even if some kind of boycott is arranged by certain factions....

why wouldn't you go. it's a shit decision, definitely worth the disgruntlement, but nothing more.

Power deserves some of this, you can't keep alienating fans (in general) and not expect some reaction. But some people... one twat on Facebook even hoped Power would get cancer...

Even that Christian twat though it was over the top.

Who says Power made the decision? It could've been the GM or anyone else for that matter.

He may not have made the decision, but he has definitely endorsed it.

The only thing that bothers me about this is that it gives sticks to people that want to find sticks to throw at the Chairman.

I'd rather be talking about Sean Murray.
