Surprised with Ramsay getting the push.

9/30 points in last 10, 12 points off autos, which being in the hunt for is presumably the expectation.

Shaun Derry got the Cambridge job then. Would have been interesting to know if he actually applied for the town job.

Local press in Reading appear to think that Steve Clarke is on his way there...and they're not too happy about it.

Seems like an odd move for Clarke, I guess money talks. I know Reading fans haven't particularly warmed to him. I reckon they'd have McDermott back in a heartbeat. Can imagine Parkinson being a popular choice for them too.

If Sherwood went to Reading, as some of their fans seem to suspect, the risk of our becoming a feeder club for Reading would be immense.

Do you think that Clarke might not be aware of the 'glory of Reading'?!

We should never waste an opportunity to re-post this:

I think feeder club is strong. But to be fair, Reading have a pretty decent set of young players (which we've benefitted from in the past). We could probably take a few of their players, they've got a young centre back Cooper who was recently linked with Coventry who's pretty highly rated.

My Reading supporting mate has now stopped taking the piss out of me because we're so crap at the moment, because every time he does I sing that to him. I love it, so grateful to them for making it.
