I'm not naive enough to think this is anything more than optimistic research but it's good to know that there might just be a breakthrough on the horizon.

It'd be good if that was true. they've already made a lot of advances with the research etc, people live a lot longer nowadays with aids.

They said recently that people like Freddie Mercury, Kenny Everett etc would still be alive if they'd got the disease now and not 15/20 yrs ago as medical science advances so quickly.
