Anyone planning on watching the game in a pub? If so, where?

at the moment either legends or cgh - has anyone got a better venue/ suggestion ? be good to be in somewhere full of town fans creating a good atmosphere  :beers:

the windmill will be a good pub to watch it in

i know a few who aint travelling to charlton but heading to the leg-ends lounge and that apparently was good for the 'wall game

My old man is watching it in the steam railway in old town, he says its always packed for town games and a good atmosphere.

Yeah it changed ownership and has got shitter. Shame as I used to like going down there.

Not the most desirable place for football, but watched the Brighton game in MacKenzie's and it was surprisingly amazing. Every single fucker in there was watching the game, getting behind the town and singing. It was so much more than i expected which was why it was probably ace. As i've said before, it was the best experience i've ever had watching footy in a pub.

I went down the windmill when Hayes was fighting that giant. They weren't showing it but had the radio commentary on. I expect they would show the game though, don't they have that super crazy 3d shit?

Watched the Swindon V. Exeter game down The Windmill and thought it was a good night. Its local to me so will be there tonight with the old man!

Back to Ecosse tonight. When Austin scored I knocked a full pint of cider onto the table/floor.

Hopefully tonight will be as enjoyable!

Unfortunatly I have to watch it in my own home, albeit on a 52" with Sky HD as none of the pubs locally will be showing it, they dont give a shit about such an important game...wierd.

coming too one doesn't even watch football or support a team but Im working on him!!

Still considering where to watch it, not sure, considering Merlin but haven't watched the footy for years in there and not sure its any good anybody know?

What I mailed to a mate of mine earlier today....sums up my current frame of mind.

"I am thinking I may invite myself around yours to watch footy tonight. I know I mentioned going to pub but to be honest I am too edgy and want to be in a nice comfortable homely environment to watch it in case I have to cry."

I came to a similar conclusion. Initially wanted to go to a pub for the atmosphere, but going to my uncle's instead incase it all goes horribly, horribly wrong! (and he has HD!).

Think yourselves lucky. My daughter is doing her first performance in the choir in front of 650 people tonight, me being one of them. I'm not going to see or hear anything until around 9.30. Even then i think i'll stick my head in the sand and wait until 10.30 before checking.
