Just a thought as I don't know it. LP said we're exchanging on the training land tomorrow, and then mentioned upcoming ground lease discussions. So putting 2 and 2 and getting 99, is the training ground land potentially suitable for a new ground as well as training?

Definitely a bit more confident than this morning.  Fair play to him and Lee coming on the radio on his first day in the job.

Quite impressed, he's clear and concise on what he wants to do, and what needs to happen, hope he turns it all round.

Power said that he has given his reasons on several occasions for not speaking to the Swindon Advertiser.

He has given his reasons a couple of times, but they are a bit wooly. Something about its not his job to provide everything for free for someone else to sell newspapers and profit out of the club.

Absolutely not.  The training facility is in a semi-rural location just outside (& the 'wrong' side) of Highworth.  Completely unsuitable site on which to locate a stadium.

Has he divulged who will own the new training ground and how it is being purchased?

Fair enough, just wondered if there was the potential for a bit of leverage with the council over the lease. I.E zero rent, sell it to me, or we're off.

Barry, as someone who got into the Prem at just the right time and has had a decent profile and longevity must be worth an absolute fortune....we've recently seen how Giggs and Gary Neville have gone into property development, as somewhere to invest their fortune....perhaps Barry is taking similar advice.

Ling appears to be a sensible chap, first thing he's done since getting the job is delete his Twitter account - he was @martinlingy until this morning!

Bet Power made him do that so he cannot engage with the media and fans... bastard!

I think he mentioned a lot can happen and they may change manager, yes.

I would say by his comment at the time that he was ITK.  If we all would have been a bit sharper we should have lumped on..

Club just posted Gladwin loan extended till Dec 3rd
Thought odd Power said till end of season as emergency loans are 28 days and can be extended twice max

Presume it's an interim loan until it can be extended to season's end in January.

Probably an agreement in principle for end of season, doing it piece meal until then. Although I'd now expect next qpr manager to want to take a look at him in December
