I thought this was quite funny, and true.  Fair play to the bloke.  This is from a thread talking about who is the best manager in League 1 -

"Very Red Rich - 30th post - 15 Jul 2005 09:32
Brian Tinnion -  inherits a team who finished 3rd takes them to 7th, sells the best players & replaces them with Swindon & Torquay journeymen."

Good one shitty scummer!!

And we think King is bad.

But that post sums Tinman up really. He's a joke

Thats neatly summed up mr Tinnions management abilities. I'd much rather have Kingy as boss.

me to. Tinnion was lined up as the next manager after wilson miles before he got sacked considering it all happened on the same day!

also, he was a legend so was a fans favourite?

Wilson is a vastly superior manager to the Tinman, he did amazingly well to keep Franchise up last year, fair play to the bloke, and I don't even like the man.

Yeah, Tinnion was a bit of a city legend as a player. its not going to take him long to ruin that as a manager though Cheesy

They actually thought they were pulling off a stroke getting in early for the likes of Smith and Heywood.

Lita money is going to mean they can afford to keep on wasting cash though.  :?

it's such a shame Harford couldn't have stayed cos i believe with Harfords respect on the field with training etc and then Kings eye for a player, those two would/could have worked wonders with Swindon.

Hate to say it but i think city would have been promoted if they had kept Wilson.
