Apparently the match in question is believed to be Norwich v. Derby County, won by the visitors 2-1.  Lots of betting on the result during the second half from Asia.  Now being reviewed by the FA and the Gambling Commission.

I think Derby were 1-0 up at half time so if it was an attempt at match fixing then it didn't work.

It could have been fixed so that derby win 2-1. Which they did.

BR, if that was the case all the betting would have been pre-game (when all score permutations were still available e.g. 0-0. 1-0, 2-0 etc), not at half time and the second half as was the case.

Was Cureton involved!?
If so...throw the book at em!
He should also be investigated for that miss against Yeovil.....that was dodgy!

Roy Carroll got sent off giving away a penalty ... and Marshall the Norwich keeper ran out of his goal area and allowed Derby to score the winner .. making no attempt to save it at all

Wasn't this shortly after the year-long period when Derby "couldn't buy a win"? Ahem

Watford v Reading should be investigated too, especially that linesman's "forst goalscorer" betting habits!

Can we get Sir Martin Arbib to fix some of our games?

We'd likely still cock it up and lose.

I think he means play off season, but you know DV doesn't get football things wrong.
