Now I like a drink as much as the next man, but at what stage do you take your kids to the playground at 11 on Sunday morning and decide to take along a couple of Stella's?
Presumably Stella none too happy

I suppose the first question is are you a lager man, you could always take some cider.

I lived on Marlowe Ave for 20 years. The bulldog, worthington, Piccadilly was the choice of drinking hole. Clearly the local inhabitants have taken the New Labour ‘cafe culture’ drinking laws to another level.

A neighbour blocked in another neighbour (you know you're taking a risk when you do the blocking, so leave a "I live at number 4" type note) in our shit and tiny communal car park last night. This led to lots of horn beeping and revving as the blocked fella needed to get to work at 3.40am.
I took being awake at that ungodly hour to go for a dump, came back and saw that the blocking cars window was now down/missing and the handbrake was being released.
The blocker either is a very solid sleeper or didn't fancy copping an earful...but come 9am I saw him get into his now moved car, and not clock that his passenger window is not to be seen.
I don't think they realise it, but they live next door to each other, which could lead to some interesting chats

This is the water. And this is the well. Drink full and descend. The horse is the white of the eyes and dark within.

There's a bloke who lives a few doors away who has the loudest voice ever when doing his bbq. He's obviously got visitors but I can only hear him. His talking is like my shouting.

I really must get some specs.
Just had a couple of friends round and offered them a refreshing G&T with the yummy Fever Tree Lemon tonic.
Now, I thought it tasted funny and nobody said anything until it was time for seconds and found I had used Kings Ginger instead of gin.

Is Kings Ginger whisky?

It’s a ginger wine. Be good with whiskey. Not so much with tonic water.

Trowbridge I use the number 49 bus a fair bit for walks.... a couple of classics overheard, always stentorian voices from the good young folk of Trowbridge.... passing through Avebury "ooh look Stonehenge" Another passing through Wroughton.... " this is where the people came out to line the streets when dead soldiers came back from Iraq"
