Meeting a member of the Norwegian FA last week, who expressed his disappointment and dislike of Franchise. He said tradition was very important. He thought such a thing should never have happened. Nice to know they're disliked outside England as well!

Tracking/spotting the International Space Station.  Only discovered this last week, and now I'm hooked.

http://www.isstracker.com/home

The sky is clear at the moment so there should be an overhead fly past in about 40 mins from now (at 21:26).

We seem to be ideally placed for spotting at this latitude because the ISS has an orbital plane inclined at 51.6 degrees from the equator - and anyone who lives near Swindon is pretty much at a latitide of 51.6 degrees north.  It means you get an overhead fly past quite frequently - where as folk who live even as far south as Birmingham will only ever see it off to the south.

There seems to be an overhead pass pretty much every night this week.  Go to http://spotthestation.nasa.gov/sightings/ and enter Swindon (or where ever you are), and it will give details.  After tomorrow, there's a bit of a wait until it's overhead again.

That's cool, cheers.

beautiful sight. Wish I had a decent pair of binoculars. Larger than last time I saw it so they have added to it a fair bit as it was a few years ago.

Not really a 'makes you feel good' thing, but just found out the guy who moved into the coach house next to my flat plays for Forest Green Rovers. Fella called Rob Sinclair.

FGR are having a good season aren't they. Could be wem-ber-ley bound or face Rovers in the POs if they hold on to that spot!
