Looking forward to the annual helping of New Model Army in Nottingham tonight.

Not quite ready to join a NMA moshpit, but the time will come.

In possession of 5 other Don's tickets so hopefully the trains will work tomorrow morning.
They don't always do...

They are actually a lot better than recent years since Dusty sadly died.

£75 is a push but a good show and if you haven’t seen them and like them, probably worth it.

Hugh "I'm more Stranglers than them" Cornwell in Islington tonight.
He may well be right.

Possibly EXTC supporting as well, which would be an unexpected bonus.

They were very good. Stepped in at very short notice apparently.
Only saw XTC live once, at The Oasis in 1980.
Had forgotten a lot of the songs but now can't get Life Begins At The Hop out of my head.

Yep. Mixed it up between solo and Stranglers songs which I think is better than two separate sets.
The solo stuff is impressive. I legged it after the excellent "Live it and Breathe it".
Good venue, good sound, good crowd. HC can play & looks like he still enjoys it and always comes across as a gent.
Well backed by Pat Hughes and of course Jonny Williams hammering away on the drums.

Have seen him a few times now, he is very funny.

This tour has a lot of links to his cancer diagnosis & treatment and a quite emotional sequence at the end about some of his treatment.

Would definitely recommend if you get a chance
