Now this could be an idea - the teams sit down in each Penalty Box in a row, behind each other and pass back a Stein of beer. 5 Steins each, the team that finishes them the quickest wins. Clearly you stick someone like Preston at the front of the line for us, he looks like he could take a few pints. You probably have an issue with playing the youth team I guess, but if you chuck a sandwich out there as well they can claim it is a drink with a meal.
Get a bonus if we play the Joker? Those of a certain age will understand that.

I enjoyed that.
Nobody in the stands seemed at all bothered in the first 45 but McDermott going off made things enjoyable (although it looked like an equaliser was coming) and Woolery’s goal made the whole event far more satisfying than it should have been given the competition.

I think this may have completed the set of scoring 4 goals at Rovers' venues. I've seen us score 4 at Eastville, Ashton Gate and Twerton Park, but think this may be the first at the latest ground... not that I was there
OK it's not important in the scheme of things, but I guess you'd rather win than lose.

Good point, also don't forget the CG also so thats every venue we have played them at competitively. I went to the games at Trashton Gate, Twerton and Eastville when we put 4 past them, a nice record that I doubt any other team can boast against them. Mickey Mouse cup or not thats a good achievement against out local(ish) rivals, has to help team harmony.

Yes, it's small steps for us as Flitters looks to restore some battered belief into the fan base, so far he's doing OK.

Yeah Clarke played most of the 1st team as a punishment for getting knocked out of the FA cup at the weekend according to the Rovers forum. And to think they beat Northampton there 6-0 only a couple of weeks ago.
