The real issue here is as I see it. Is when and not if Flynn gets pissed off and says enough is enough

Why would Flynn get pissed off and leave? He is managing one of the top teams in League 2, is on a good, unbeaten, run, was unemployed prior to joining, and has, despite all the negativity, a pretty good squad of players to work with.

This makes me laugh, £450k fee agreed too apparently!

Gonna be awkard for him, he’s spent a couple of games of the season refusing to play!

I'd put 50p on Wickham to Wrexham in the light of that.

He seems an ideal fit TBH after the Armstrong debacle.

Exiled Bob, in answer to your comment.

I agree MF has so far proven that he is a straight talking common sense type of manager who knows what he is talking about. His man management skills seem top shelf

He is somewhat of rare breed of managers that has supplied these skills at the County Ground. I would say not since Danny Williams.

Some may say Wellens or initially Danny Wilson. Don't think so. Both good at talking.

Flynn has proven at Newport that he can talk and walk a good game as well.

For the record, don't think Town will eever attract likes of Ossie Ardilles and Glen Hoddle again.

So my comments are.... Town will need to help Mike Flynn become a very successful manager here before a more go ahead club does.

Where are these numbers from, or just ITK?

If they are real then that money being spent on Kemp/Young perm deals would be great.

They are from a friend of my son who is a Peterborough fan.
Don’t know if it’s a rumour or he’s ITK

Apparently the fee is around £300k with a 30% sell on.
If true, and Wakeling develops into a decent striker (which they have a record of doing) he’s probably going to sell for in excess of £4m.

Based on that we would get a hefty sell on fee, which we probably wouldn’t get on our own.

So from a business point of view a good deal.

The problem is we didn’t get the bodies through the door that we all think we need.

I thought I was going crazy for a second as I couldn’t find this post.
Just quoting it here to show I didn’t make the post up ( more for myself than others)

Yeah, probably 300k over 6 years and a 30% sell on fee to be paid in yearly 2% instalments.

Flynn has a lot of control over the transfers. Any issues we've had in the summer are as much down to him as anyone else.

We're definitely not done though, as disappointing as the window was. Not too bothered about Wakeling, he was gonna be a bit part player this season and we got a decent fee for him. I hope he flourishes at Peterborough.

FGR confirm Callum Morton joined them on loan for the season from Salford, agreed before the deadline cut off.

Gills sign ex Charlton free agent keeper Nathan Harvey.

Harrogate agree a fee with Stevenage to sign striker Josh March, a deal rushed through with the Luke Armstrong departure that never happened! a deal agreed on deadline day but not announced until after the deadline.

Junior Tchamadeu has joined Stoke City on a four-year deal from Colchester in a deal said to be worth £1m+ for the Essex club.

Weird how many of these deals were not announced until the day after deadline day.

He’s gone downhill after looking promising in his first loan.
