it just needs some actual instruction when things are going wrong. 'Catch it', 'hit the target' and 'slow down' doesn't cut it.

I found it funny.
Especially when I realized he wasn't being sarcastic when telling Thompson off for running at 200MPH. And the way Pitman just seems to not give a fuck about what he says.
Was annoying during the match, though. What an utter gobshite.

I'm surprise the squad haven't got together and said that's enough and stand up for each other? Is the team divided? As surely the leaders Bauldry, Grant and Caddis would get some backing, loyalty from the other lads? I want the players to revolt against the Dinosaur and unite.

Regardless of language, he's in a performance related business where the performance of his peers around him have not been great and they are being relieved of their duties. Sheridan is currently performing worse than all of them. There are perfect grounds for dismissal based upon that alone.
As for professional conduct or professional approach (or lack of) to his performance related role that is another story. There is plenty of evidence available to to relieve him right now.
I can't think of any if many jobs in a PRP based role where he would still be in a job. I'm pretty certain if I were measuring his performance since he came into the role, against any pre-agreed objectives then at a monthly appraisal, after seeing continual decline...he would be relieved of his duties. I'm sure if an appeal was made that the CIPD would fully back the evidence and reasons given for fairly dismissing him.

It has to be today, doesn’t it?
He’s on a contract until the end of the season. There’s virtually no cost.
I suggest we minimise the cost even further by replacing him with someone else with the same initials. At least that way we’ll get some use out of his effing coat.

I'm not ITK but I've said it before, Power won't be sacking JS. JS doesn't care either way anyway. Power plainly won't save us and Sheridan plainly can't save us. Unfortunately there is nothing that leads me to believe there is the level of leadership or respect in our senior players to take over. We look rudderless. Otherwise the least that could be done would be for the players to persuade Curran to declare himself unfit. On top of our playing concerns, that situation has been an insult to the club's sporting integrity.
