No chance the replay is on live, some policy isnt going to make them chose us over the FC United or Luton games.

Correct. I'm sure that ESPN only showed two replays, and they'll pick the Luton v Charlton and FCUM v Brighton.

If we get through I would expect Derby to fill their allocation.

Could be our first ever FA Cup tie with Derby.

Derby would bring loads. They get really good gates.

I agree with you. A home tie with a fairly decent crowd, should be a good day out.

O.K. we didn't get Man Utd, Chelsea etc but the thought of Burnley or Preston away etc would have been awful.

So a home tie to a club with average home gates (this season) of >25,000 and currently 4th in the Championship is a shit draw?

Get a fucking grip. Carlisle or Hartlepool away qualify as shit draws (although I'm sure Pullen would argue the latter, possibly both).

Still, never mind, it might never happen......

I seem to remember going to a game against Derby with my grandad at the CG back in the early 90's and it was on ITV. A sunday game ?

Didn't we play them in the cup back in the late 80's / early 90's? At home when we were in the 3rd (or 4th) and they were 1st or 2nd? Peter Shilton was in goal for them and he got beaten by a cross / shot. Think we got a result, draw or a win.

Can one of the oldies confirm the details?

We beat Derby in the LC in '94 on our way to the semis.

I think it was McMuck's first game in charge.

A certain Brian Clough was there manager at the time.

Pumbaa, couldnt agree more.

Yes you might hate the Premier League, but being so desperate to get a PL side that you think every other draw is shit just reinforces the problem.

Funny how Clough junior is there over 40 years later.
