Only a youngster though - we're still going to need the experienced head back there.  Will be good to challenge Ifil at least.

Excellent, may be young but still has experience at this level. Started 25 games last year with 33 appearances, defence looks decent now.

i think i remember him playing against us in the game Roberts single handedly won for us from out of nowhere.  I remember thinking he was ace, and just the sort of player we needed.

Good player according to wednesday fans, just letting him get a bit of experience before he's ready for the championship but was very good last season.

Apparently he's better at centre-back but likes right-back and is good going forward.

They all seem pleased he has just signed a contract extension, some are unsure on whether they should be loaning him out.

From High Green Owl on 606site, which has improved since the relaunch.

"Youve got yourselves a quality player there. He loves to get forward and adds plenty to the attack. Plays centre and right back but better in the centre. Tends to get caught out at the back due to lack of experience but will do well for you once he has a few games under his belt.
Dont get to attached though hes one for the future and we are having him back!!"

Was he playing at the back when we scored all those goals against them last November?

This wouldn't surprise me.... Jenks was going on about expecting to play a variety of roles this season.....trouble is I've not really seen him play this role too well.
