Fair overall, but harsh on Purkiss if memory serves. Wasn’t there an awful Traoré to put in there? And how could Agombar miss out on a starting berth? And Stabby McStabface? And that wanker from ?Palace who thought he was too big for us but ended up getting kicked out of Scottish football. What was he called?

Tbh I think Robertson was the guy I was thinking about, they were the same season right? Purkiss was the right back and Robertson the centre back?

10 apps was an issue for GK/CB as those are positions you tend to get dropped in very quickly if you're dreadful. It also rules out the properly shit one/two appearancers like Agombar, Islam Feruz and so on.

Yes, although Purkiss played occasionally at CB, if memory serves me right. Robertson was truly awful.
