Gives a bit of normality back and makes sense to me. If stadiums are silent it’s just like a training match on a training ground, at least this way it’s a constant reminder it matters, same with goal announcements it gives a bit of a celebration still. Eventually players will play in front of crowds again so they shouldn’t get used to playing in silence.
There was in-stadium crowd noise (ie not added with the commentary) on Match of the Day last night. Seems to be a widespread thing. I think we have to accept that it’s being done for the players not for us!

Whilst the win is obviously welcome, I assume it wasn't a great game considering the clubs 'extended highlights' lasted less than 2 mins!

First half was very enjoyable watching. Second half had the feel of a friendly at times as we looked, mainly, to avoid injuries.
We were shithousing a bit too much towards the end, though.

Not really gamesmanship. The lark with Wellens’s notes, though funny, was taking it a bit far. Being 3-0 up it didn’t really make much difference.
Shouldn’t complain when the tables are turned, though.

Good to see the uncut videos back - a welcome addition to the day.
Pitman has a slightly odd gait about him. Reminds me a bit of Floki from The Vikings.

He does have an odd gait but he does hang in the air well for his height and won 2 headers, something no forward of ours have done very well since we had Nile Ranger. Its definately something different for us. I think we will see Pitman if Wellens sees a weakness in the opposition to crosses and long balls into the box, I think we will see Tyler Smith when Wellens see there being a weakness in pace in opposition defences.

Well, we know where we're goin' But we don't know where we've been And we know what we're knowin' But we can't say what we've seen And we're not little children And we know what we want And the future is certain Give us time to work it out

Nice to see that even in these constrained times random pitch forking is still the done thing!
That font the FL have chosen for the shirts this season is dreadful!

I haven't watched Vikings. I was thinking Andy Mutch.

I think Andy Mutch could have let a wild pig run through his legs without it touching the sides.

He looks way closer to match fitness than Andy Mutch ever did for Town!
