If I was a terrorist Wimbledon would be top of my 'sporting events to bomb' list. I've got no problem with the sport itself but don't get me started on the crowds, they're more fickle than football fans.

I'm sure I saw someone in a Swindon top in the crowd for the Murray match.

Probably hallucinating given my lack of football fix.

Don't worry, the Commentators gave him the kiss of death when at 2 sets to love up they reminded us that "Nalbandian has never won from 2 sets down". Why do they do it?

It's a pretty simple story, if Murray wins he's British, if he loses he's a Scottish Bottle-job.

I know what I've got my money on now..

Brazil were playing some beautiful football, how they conceded two to the Germans I will never know.

If England were playing Argentina at football Murray would have been wearing an Argie shirt........well done Nalbandian.

It's true that the English public adopted Murray following the humiliating and deserved defeat of their 'hero' Tim "I don't have an ounce of aggression in my scrawny public schoolboy body" Henman. But in Tennis he was representing Britain, and in the same way that I'd like to see the Lions dick all over NZ I'd like to see anyone representing Britain defeat the Argies.

The fact that he's scottish just gives us an out if he gets humiliated. Wink

On the subject of the British and Irish Lions.....is there any point in it anymore....unfortunately England could beat the All Blacks....why weaken the team?
