OK. But that doesn't change the fact that he was a decent keeper, it wasn't as if Hartlepool released him, more of a case that he let his contract run down so that he could progress. I am sure if he wasn't at the end of his contract he would have been valued at over £500k back then. I don't know whether he has gone backwards since then, but he would still be worth a punt, better than Philips anyway, he's just odd.....apparently! |
