A couple of random punts on unknown youngsters from obscure leagues, please.

So what else do we think is needed, player wise? We seem to have pretty good cover over most of the pitch now, so I'm expecting maybe 1 or 2 more loans in and that's it.
Defensive cover and we're there. A LB/CB.

I disagree as we have 5 players that can play upfront (Norris, Smith, Woolery, Twine and Mullery) with Woolery and Mullin being quite flexible of playing out wide and down the centre if needed. Realistically depends on what formation DF wants to play though but if we go 4-3-3 then it will likely be Mullin - Norris - Woolery with Smith and Twine as backups.

If we go with a 3 or 4 up front, we've got plenty pf options.
Norris, Smith, Mullin and Woolery throught the middle. Mullin, Woolery, Goddard, Brophy, McDermott wide or behind a 9. then Jordan Young and Twine too, for JPT etc... Tought to get someone in loan up there as they won't get minutes.

That's the problem, over saturation. We need some cover defensively (LB and CB) but we should be pretty good for the rest of the pitch but we have the option of 3 more loans which we could wait till January to add to the squad if needed.

I like your conflation of Mullin and Woolery into Mullery. I recall Mullery scoring v Huns in the 70 WC to put England 2-0 up well into the second half in Leon. I thought at that point we were definitely on our way to a rightful domination of world football....oh well It was only a few years later that the cunt was whining to ref, to get the game v Brighton abandoned with 10mins to go and Town 4-0 up

I think injuries might dictate the remainder of the window shopping. However, if Flitcroft/Power can wave a wand and magic a Rohan Ince out of the hat, it'd be worth overloading any particular position.

I think if we signed Rohan Ince, I'd overload in my current position

Hi Swindon supporters, I have to confess that I have been a FGR supporter for over 46 years and have worked in many positions for the club. On the other hand I was born and bred in Croft Road Swindon and was regularly taken to watch Swindon by my Father until we moved away.
You can see that I have mixed loyalties for both clubs and have always followed Swindon's results. So why am I on this thread you may ask, well it's the report on your capture of Woolery, don't believe the FAKE NEWS on you club site. He didn't score 13 goals in he's lone spell with FGR, it's only 2 plus 2 in that final. I should know as I'm the clubs Official Statistician.
Good luck for the season except against us.

TBH, I'm only interested in how many he scores for us. We've bought potential - nothing else.

My thinking was we have numbers, but we've yet to see if Norris, Smith, Woolery and to some extent Mullin can start to find the net regularly. Obviously Twine is a bit of an unknown. Hopefully Norris is only out 1-2 months (or less!). I guess wait and see is fine at this stage.

Somebody was asleep when they wrote that, I think they should have said 4 goals in 13 games Ah well, if he starts off with 1:3 and gets better I'll be happy!
