My brother loved it, but I never saw it.  Wouldn't mind catching it if they ever reeee-peat it.

Long Way Round is excellent - I saw it on Sky One (Hmmm....Sky One showing a decent programme? Whatever next!!!).

I think it is better than Palin's latest effort when he went accross the Hamalayas.

I was just a bit  disappointed that they wizzed through the USA, which must have accounted for about 5,000 miles of the overall journey, in about 15 minutes

Damned good show though, and Ewan McGregor went waaaaaaaaay up in my estimation as a result (I'm not gay or owt!)

The first thing I saw EMc do was a Dennis Potter thing on C4, Lipstick on my Collar.

It was ace, he played a bored shitless clerk in the Foreign Office at the time of the Suez Crisis.

Its a period of our history which fascinates me anyway (1956), but the character used to spend his time fantasizing about the office girls dancing around naked to the early rock and roll of the time.

As they all seemed inordinately fit, it seemed a winning combination of personal interests........., about time for a repeat. Tongue

I remember that, that was good.

I liked the theme music as well.

Good old Dennis Potter was always good for a few tits out on the TV screen.  What about Black Eyes?Huh??

Ding dong!!!
