The reception for Ennis was brilliant.

Also the buzz when Bolt came out to warm up. And even though he was slower than some of the others he just has an aura about him.

Hard to pick just one thing to be honest, but if pushed it would probably be seeing Bolt run in the Olympics.

Olympic Stadium was very good & the organisation is excellent.

Looked nice from the outside ! Handball was great. Brilliant seats, GB aren't of the same standard as others but it didn't matter so much. The second game was South Korea v Serbia and was reasonably close.

Very impressed with the Olympic Park. Been to the Sydney site and London is pretty similar standard, and that's a compliment.

Agree the organisation was great. Worst bit was the 6.11->Paddington was rammed and I didn't have a reserved seat. Everything else was great. Even the security check in was only a 5-10 minute wait.

Briefly spoke to a Trinidad and Tobago 4x100 runner on the tube too. Not sure who but she was with this team

Might put a couple of pics up later.

This cycling sprint is quality. I've never seen this before. I'm going to suggest adding some mario kart banana skins and explosive turtles and we've got a sport to be reckoned with

Andy Murray & Laura Robson have just got through to the mixed doubles final. Meaning Murray is guaranteed 2 medals.

It seems we're actually quite good at this sports thing!

Tennis was very entertaining actually, and not just because Sabine Lisicki is rather pretty.

Farah and Ennis tonight, could be a brilliant evening.

Does anyone have the faintest idea what the cycling Omnium is about?

It's not that hard to understand, though difficult to keep track of without a noticeable scoreboard of any kind.

They ride around for 120 laps. Every 10th lap is a sprint, in which their positions are taken at the end of it, and they get points for that position on that lap. They also get points if they lap the rest of the field, and points taken off for being lapped.

That might well be the worst refereeing decision I've ever seen. And I've seen Rob Styles.

Head high kung fu kick. Nearly as bad as Schumacher's challenge on Battiston in the '82 WC Semi.
