3 drops in one match, that's not the best is it.

More fun commentry from Sky's internet service:

Quote
243-3 - Gee, this boy's got talent. Clarke off the back-foot to the cover fence for another boundary. A slower ball goes all wrong and Martyn matches his partner. He then clips the third four of the over past square leg. That's 100 runs in this session in 18 overs - I don't know what England had in their tea, rophynol by the looks of it.

Took two wickets in quick succession, just before the end of the day - not bad.

Could be a tricky score to chase unless we improve tenfold, Gilchrist is on now  Sad

Still a fair few runs to come I should imagine though.  Looks like a decent run chase for England when they eventually get to bat.  This test has been quality so far!!!

we have as good as lost the test now. yes we have 3 days to get 300-400 but we really dont have a hope in hell if our batsmen cant even get into double figures

Yea but neither could the Aussies in the 1st innings. Rain predicted for tomorrow.

The pitch seems to have settled well now and if we get the Aussies out by lunch tomorrow it looks like it could be a good batting track.

yes but only if we play sensibly and tresco and struass actually use their feet against mcgrath otherwise he we bowl us out again. it is clear  that if you dont play to balls outside the off stump and wait for the bad ball onto the legs then runs will come

mcgrath wont bowl any bad balls though so that's a totally useless policy

these guys know how to bat, just let them do it rather than telling them how to play two of the greatest ever bowlers

It's going to be a bugger tomorrow (sorry - today now :-). One of the blokes at work was tellling me about the TV analysis and they reviewed the pitch where McGrath had been pitching. It looked like he had hit the yarking great crack on a length nearly every ball. Hope he has too many beers tonight or we're shagged.
