Whenever I think of Somerset in cricket terms, this is the team I think of:

 Happy days.....I had the pleasure of watching that side a few times.

  My fave apart from the obvious big three was Colin Dredge....The Demon of Frome.

  Sadly that great side was ruined by the butt smacking, O*frod bum boy Roebuck.

I nearly ran him over in Devizes market place once. Like you Reg , a gang of us used to follow his performances, and have been heard to chant his name in front of the Lords' pavilion following one of their B&H wins.  Wasn't the Frome team mostly made up of Dredges ?
